Gulliver's Travels

This is basically just that old fairy tale that everyone knows, but is set in the modern day where Gulliver is trying to write an article to get the attention of his crush and to escape the mail room. And where the island is, is the Bermuda Triangle. That really is all there is to say except that the special effects are quite good. This is basically an all star cast but that doesn't automatically make it a good film so I rate it 3 stars out of 5.

Kick Ass Review

This is an Okay superhero movie with similar aspects as Scott Pilgrim to make the audience aware that this was actually a comic book first. This is a believable superhero movie because SPOILER ALERT - They have no powers, not like Batman no powers because he has the money to create stuff that hasn't even been invented yet. There isn't much to say about this film other than it is worth watching even thought I am rating it 3 out of 5.

Gnomeo and Juliet Review

This is obviously a new take on Romeo and Juliet and clearly it takes place in gardens. This is the only version of Romeo and Juliet I have ever seen or read, but to my knowledge it is still basically the same (except the ending if that isn't too much of a spoiler). This film deserves a 4 out of 5 stars and because there are too many famous people to list, click here to see them.

Cars 2 Review

This was full of stereotypes but don't know how else they would've created the film otherwise. In my opinion this film was better than the first one and feels like it was aimed for a slightly older audience. Mater ends up becoming a spy by accident and the lemons are out for revenge. I rate this film 4 out of 5. Stars include Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy and Michael Caine.

The Da Vinci Code Review

This is a great film that I have seen countless times and yet I still enjoy it. After the murder of Sophie's grandfather is murdered, the reason being a spoiler. Two people follow the clues that were set up by the grandfather to find the Holy Grail. There are lots of twists and this film seems very real and it deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The actors in this movie include Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Jean Reno and Ian McKellen.

Horrid Henry The Movie Review

This is a film based on the TV series and/or the books. Horrid Henry is always getting into trouble and due to unforeseen circumstances he finds himself along with the purple hand gang to save the school. There isn't much to say but it is a great film, that according to my mum and an English teacher at my comp isn't as good as the cartoon series, and for that reason I will rate it 4 out of 5. What did get on my nerves is a few impossible things such as gravity stuff e.g. staying in the air or spelling being a subject (not a topic) but I suppose they are just for the film to be more entertaining. This film has too many famous people that I will not list them, except her is a Link.

Hancock Review

This is a superhero movie about Hancock who is constantly drunk and reckless. He eventually gets help with his problems from this guy, but it is his wife that is keeping secrets (I would say but it is a spoiler). I realized at the end of this film that the story was pointless because there was no arch enemy, like all other superhero movies, unless of course you count himself or the wife (same spoiler). The cast include Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman. I rate this film 3 out of 5.
